Christmas and Snow

For some of us Christmas and snow go hand in hand, at least cold weather. Today while I was out these things caught my eye and I can use them all winter.

This is a cute set I bought today.

I'm sure this snowman will keep me cheery this winter.

He's allready with warm coffee.

These following things I have had for years. Some are over 10 years old.

Let it snow man.

Santas

My big Santa I thought was a great bargain at $17 and has given me much joy.

A glass Nativity set.

My snuggly snowman.

A wreath I made with some crocheted ornaments.

I love the little polar bear.

Santas all together.

Two little wreaths I crocheted.

I'm undecided about the tree so that will come later. Thanks for veiwing my essay.

My mom used to do A LOT for Christmas....village, multiple trees (one big and several little ones) garland, lights, a few lighted trees outside. So when I got my own house I said A tree and that's IT!!!! We do put one strand of lights outside. I just feel it is clutter and my house is already too cluttered, but my daughter is now 20 months old and I'm already thinking about the fun things I can get when she is a little older. I'm afraid I'm going to turn into my mother, ahhhh!!!

Hmmmm.
Last time I hugged a snowman he fell apart and I had to hang my clothes over a heating vent.

I'm happy to see someone excited about decorating for Christmas.
I've burned myself out through the years. I thought I was Martha Stewart or someone for a while. I don't like to think about it now.

And Lydia, I don't know where you are but if it's over 60 degrees there today, I'll trade you. It's so cold and windy here.

Great collection, JoAnne!! I miss the snow! Terribly. It doesn't feel like winter and definitely not like Christmas with no snow. I am hoping and praying for snow while we are in WV at Christmas time.

I love snowmen! My favorites are the ice cube type ones... Your snowmen are cute and it sounds like you got some winter weather huh? We did too! It's a snow day today! I am loving it, gives me more time to read and comment on stuff!
