It's begining to look a lot like Christmas...

I bought our tree this morning, then got SUPER hyped up to put it up today. So, after cleaning, and convincing hubby we should do it now, we started. The tree is up, the extra red lights are on it, the garland is on it, and the ornaments are sorted into piles for each of the kids.

This is the earliest I've ever had a tree up. Usually, we do it after Thanksgiving. But, I got antsy, and had a bad day, so happy mommy time!

WHO HOO!!!! CHRISTMAS!!! I LOVE DECORATING!!
It's funny- it's sitting in front of the slider, and 1 panel of the slider is covered in fall/thanksgiving decorations, and the other side has the kids stockings up. I found cute Christmas shaped suction cups at the dollar store to use for displaying the stockings.

Aside from that, there's no other Christmas decore up. I'll hold off on the other stuff. ;)

We don't until December actually arrives. I like to decorate for Thanksgiving.

We usually wait till after Thanksgiving since we have a real one. I do change my dishes to my holiday ones the day after Thanksgiving as well.

I have the tree up, the lights on, and the garland... but no ornaments yet. We have two cats and want them to get used to the tree being in the house (and not a new toy for them) before we add anything to it. Its been up a couple days now, and the cats haven't climbed it yet... Good sign!
