I never really used to like Starbucks. In fact, I didn't really like coffee much at all. However, I have now acquired a taste for it, and I have also learned how to customize at Starbucks.
Yes, Starbucks is expensive, but the key to enjoying what you get it, is to learn how to customize your drinks. At Starbucks, you can do just about anything to your drink that you can think of. For instance, you can get their hot beverages to a specified temperature. You can ask for a percentage of milk in any of the drinks that have milk (1%, Non-fat, etc...) You can get the drinks without whip cream. You can add pumps of syrup to different drinks. The syrup flavors are mocha, white mocha, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon dolce, hazelnut, toffee nut, sugar free caramel, sugar free vanilla, sugar free hazelnut, and sugar free cinnamon dolce (did I forget any?) You can have most any of their drinks iced instead of hot. You can also, on all of the hot drinks, ask for a SHORT instead of a tall. This means that you get only 8 oz as opposed to 12. If you have trouble drinking all of a tall, then this might be good for you.
I have a drink that you have to try if you like chocolate. I found the recipe online at a site that you might want to check out. You have to do some digging to find the interesting recipes. Starbucks Baristas. You have to ask for the cream based frappuccino with one pump of mocha, one pump of chai, and one pump of cinnamon dolce. It really is good. What do you enjoy at Starbucks?

I don't drink coffee, but I do like some of the frappichinos....especially the Strawberries and Cream and the Pumpkin Spice.
I don't drink coffee, but I do like some of their tasty pastries. Yummmm!
I used to do starbucks all the time but now I can't stand them lol. The coffee is always so bitter to me, and I am not sure why because I love coffee! It is just as well though because the only starbucks I've seen since I moved here to PA is one by the mall, which is close to 30 minutes away from me. Way too far for a starbucks fix daily!
The recpie you posted does look good though. Perhaps the next time I am at the mall I will give it a try! Lately I am enjoying the coffee at the local Turkey Hill (a convienent mart). Its plain jane stuff, but I love it!
When I was in NY, there was a starbucks at the book store - and we were there sooo very often. Our 'thing' would be to go in, get our coffees or drinks, and browse the books. Now we just have a Boarders, and they have Seattle's best coffee. Its 'ok' I guess!
I like their frappichinos - which aren't healthy at all! I get giftcards from MyPoints for Starbucks, so I'm not spending money out of our budget.
Many calories in some of Starbuck's drinks!
I don't drink coffee either but there double chocolate chip frap blended creme is so good. Of course it has as much calories in biggest one as your suppose to consume in one day. Thats definitely a treat not something I get every day.
My sister is a store manager of a Starbucks, she started out as a barista. She has taught much of my family how to order what they'd like. I don't like that they don't cream and sugar it for you, and I've always thought Dunkin' Donuts has the best coffee. Plus, Starbucks is so expensive!
They will put in the sugar and creamer in for me if I ask.
Good to know!
I don't drink coffee, so all I get there - if anything - are juices or tea drinks.
Well, I live at the center of the Starbucks Franchise. After all, they started here in my area originally.
I like white chocolate mochas; piping hot with lots of whip.
For a change of pace, a butterscotch latte is awesome.
I have also had them make a milkyway bar latte: it was so awesome! I thought I was drinking a liquified candy bar. But, I felt sick afterwards: I think it was just too much for me!
Mmmm, a butterscotch latte sounds divine. If you ask for light on the butterscotch next time it should go down easier! The sweetness gets to me too, so I request all of my flavors light at Starbucks.
I think they closed the one close to me.......
it's under new mgmt.....it's still a coffee shop......
never ever tried them...
I use most of my points for Starbucks or Borders, so Gather pays for the coffee.
My favorite is Mocha Mint Frappacino.
I've never been to Starbucks. And, I will never go.
I am not a coffee drinker. At all.
I love me my starbucks.. you usually find me getting..
Grande half-caf skinny hazelnut.. or cinnamon-dolce (depending on my mood).
or..
Grande java chip frappacino lite.. no whip..
Mmmmm.. craving some now!
I had Starbucks coffee once and it tasted burned. It was the most expensive bad coffee I've ever dumped out. Guess I'm just a Folger's girl.
I usually get whatever bold is brewed for the day. Sometimes I will get a latte.
Nope, I never did learn this, but it probably saved me a lot of money. I am not a coffee drinker, and I don't think I ever will be. Whenever my friends went to Starbucks, I always got hot chocolate.
Here is what I order: triple venti, skinny cinnamon dolce, no foam, with whip!
No. I have more important things to spend my money on.
I don't get coffee there. I make my own :)
Back in the day I used to get a Cafe Caramel from The Coffee Beanery. It had caramel syrup, whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Simple!
I'll have a grande white chocolate mocha with a squirt of the sugar-free hazelnut syrup, please! Oh, and a dusting of cinnamon on top of the whipped cream.
The only thing that I like from Starbucks besides some of their snacks is their Chai Tea. I am so not a coffee drinker I dont carehow much its customized. When I am really exhausted I prefer McDonalds cofee as it is extremely sweet.
I like the gas station's powder cappuccino. I get a 12oz cup filled with 1/2 columbian coffee, 1/2 french vanilla cappuccino. Yummy and $0.95.
Speaking of Starbucks, did you see that you can Share a Pint of New Starbucks® Ice Cream on Facebook? One pint is headed my way, and I can't wait. Meanwhile, I'll have a...
Grande, soy white chocolate mocha, light on the chocolate, tepid, with whip for here. I have some reading to catch up on.... ; )
