It was a happy cry, though :~) I came home for my lunch break today and he came up to me while digging in his pocket and said he had a thank you present. I was a little worried...he is a 5 year old little boy after all, no telling what was in there ;~)
Well, this is what he gave me...
I asked him what is was for and he said, "for being with him when he had surgery" (he had his tonsils out on Monday) I picked him up and hugged him and cried, like the big baby I am!
I guess he found this rock when he was out with his dad feeding the horse.
I do believe I have the sweetest son in the whole wide world!!
Wouldn't you agree??

Gotta love those 'good' cries. Even though I'm a guy; it's one of the best feelings in the world. Usually, just thinking about my best friend will make a tear or two leak from the corners of my eyes. Sometimes, even a guy can have a touch of emotion. It's great when they start doing it so young. That usually means they'll be a very sensative and caring person when they become and adult.

When my brother was about Connor's age I was living in Madrid and one day I got a letter in the male with a little cardboard heart that it looked like he cut out of a cereal box. I called him to find out what it was and he said Mommy told him his heart was the most special thing he had so he sent his to me.
