Guess who is walking!

Last night Jonas took his first steps!  He has been standing up on his own for a while and stood up without help at 9 months.  He has been cruising for a few weeks and last night he was finally ready to take a few steps without any help.  He knew he was doing something big because he announced himself loudly and had a huge grin on his face.  Of course I didn't have my camera.  He took about 5 steps.  I am so proud of him! 

I have to let his aunt Melanie know that he started walking on her birthday!  That will make both easier to remember!! 

I don't know if I have mentioned it but he is doing quite a bit now.  He turns the cordless phone on and goes, "ahhh ohhhh!"  He quacks thought it sounds like, "cack".  And he knows what a duck is.  I will ask where the duck is and he will find it then crawl around with it going, "cack cack".  He loves to play with his siblings.  He imitates everything they do.  About two weeks ago he started dancing along with them.  If you shake your head he shakes his.  If you move from side to side then he does too.  He also sings himself to sleep sometimes.  Though he won't go to sleep without me.

I think he might be a leftie because he takes Amara's pencils all the time and tries to draw too.  And he always holds them with his left hand.  He even holds them correctly!  He can barely hold one at all in his right hand.  He doesn't really make any marks on paper but he tries. 

 And I can't think of anymore right now!  But he is doing a LOT!!
