Decisions made
Sometimes no control
Go with the flow they say
What about you?
Your life, your choices.
You step out bold
To voice your opinion
But figure what's the use?
You wait patiently
Until you can use your judgement
You wait, wait, wait
Then you look around and realize
Life passed you by.

It's kind of like the old adages:

"Look before you leap."

but then we also have:

"He who hesitates is lost."

Just goes to show that we always walk this very thin line -- and timing is EVERYTHING!

Time is the essence of life. At least if you use it wisely enough. Nice thought provoking poem. I try hard not to just let life fly by me.

Interesting take on it. I just wrote a poem myself about decisions. I looked at it a bit differently but, I loved your take on it. I never thought about the problem of not making the decision and having life pass me by. Thanks for sharing and peace.
