We're having a bit of an emergency here right now, so my apologies for anyone I owe comments to.  My youngest daughter was assaulted by a creep and she has contacted the police.  She's fine, not hurt or anything (and thank God she was able to escape any physical violation), but badly shaken up.  I'm just taking a moment while she is at her friend's house to let you know I haven't forgotten you and will be back as soon as practical to catch up.

I have to say I'm extremely proud of her.  So many young women would remain silent after something like this but she has contacted the police and WILL be pressing charges.

Any and all good thoughts and/or prayers are appreciated.

What a relief that she's ok. I hope she can stop the creep from attacking another girl by going to the police. You did good in raising her.

OMG I am so relieved she is ok! She is doing the right thing to report. I had a similar incident when I was a teen but was to scared to tell anyone until recently. Good for her!

How terrible! I'm so glad she's unhurt and standing up for herself, but I know it's still very traumatic for all concerned. Let the bastard have it!

thank you for commenting my moonsand article. grandparents will let grandchildren do all kind of things that they wouldn't let their own children do. my mother lets my daughter water paint all the time. she always told me "nah, it's too messy"

Any physical assault is dangerous, and very traumatic.
