I Am Currently Reading..... The Smoke Thief

The Smoke Thief is a very well written novel about dragons. I picked up the two books The Smoke Thief and The Dream Thief because of the cover art. No I'm serious! They have beautiful embossed metalic dragons on the covers , very eye-catching!!!! I am almost finished with The Smoke Thief and will be starting The Dream Thief right away.

The Smoke Thief is the winner of Historical Romance Of The Year from Romantic Times Bookclub

Thanks for the info! And there's nothing wrong with picking up a book because it has an eye-catching cover, I've done the same thing, lol. And I'm sure the illustrators will be very happy to know that all their hard work brought in at least one customer. They say the cover does attract the reader. Publishers are very picky about their covers. This sounds interesting. I'll have to see about it.

You know that (supposedly) if you pick up a book due to the art you are 50% likely to buy it...if you read the back blurb you are even more likely to buy it- I do it all the time! I'd buy any book with a dragon on it :)

I didn't know that about picking up a book because of it's cover... I do know that I am constantly drawn to the same books visually so that must be it.

Is there anything else you can tell us about the books? They sound good (and cover art is vitally important in catching my interest)! I'm very picky about my books, though: I'm not going to lie. Why waste time finding a book's info when there's someone who's already read it?!
