Instead of neively believing the abusive parent's manipulations,I should have been stronger;helped my mom remove us from that situation and went on to have a FULL productive life.

I regret not taking more chances out of fear of failure, focusing too much on past mistakes and hurts, and not spending more time with my grandmother before she died.

I often regret some food I have eaten after the fact or for not remembering that iceberg lettuce is going to kill my stomach... Other than that, I try to live with no regrets... If I hadn't done what I did, perhaps I would have missed out on some valuable life lesson...

My one regret? Wasting too much time on regret. I really do try to learn from my mistakes and go on. But if I'm wrong, I don't feel right until I've fully apologized to the person I hurt or if I try to make amends for doing wrong if I can't reach the person for some reason.
After that, I try to make peace and go on.
