Grandma's Banana Bread

1 C sugar

1 egg

1 tsp soda

2 C flour

1/2 C butter

1 C mashed bananas

3 T. milk

1 tsp baking powder

Cream sugar, egg, and butter. Add bananas, milk, and other dry ingredients. Bake in two bread pans at 350 degrees for 45 minutes - 1 hour, until bread is set. You can tell when it is done by pressing down on the top of the loaf. If it mushes down give it 5 - 10 more minutes, if it springs back, it's done.

Serve warm spread with real butter!
