The Two SARAHs

My friend, Sarah A., and I received incredible news this week that we'd both made it into the second round of Gather's First Chapters Romance Contest!

We wanted to let you know a little bit more about us, and we hope you'll enjoy checking out our chapters!

Sarah and I have been critique partners for going on 2 years, and we're both members of the West Houston RWA Chapter -- hoping to make them proud! :)

Sarah A. has a degree in Speech Therapy but manages an interior design office (that's why the architectural details in her story are so authentic!), and she also runs the track at Memorial religiously, much like her heroine...

When she gets home, she's greeted by two adorable girl pomeranians.

She's been writing "seriously for publication" for a couple of years now, and believe it or not, "Architect of Seduction" is her first ever manuscript... just put through the ringer a few times until it shines.

My name is Sarah C., and I'm a Gatherholic.  LOL  I used to hang around Blogger... but Gather is like Blogger on speed, one big, constant, frenetic chat room! :)

My day job is structural engineering in the booming oil and gas industry (and that's why my geek details are so authentic!).

When I get home, I'm also greeted by two girls... twin daughters who are 5 years old. 

Writing has been my creative outlet for many years, but I also started writing "seriously for publication" over 2 years go.  "Beauty and the Geek" is my 4th completed manuscript, and it was inspired by the reality TV show by the same name.
