I adapted this from an email I got from Amazon. There is a book of 100 Calorie Snacks with that title. This is their recipe but I used a different combination of fruits. I had a few ripe strawberries so I used them along with some frozen raspberries and a mixed berry thing from Shoprite. I used some Truvia in it too because the original recipe did not call for sweetener, which I thought it needed.
This is soooo good. It made enough for 3 more servings. They are in the freezer waiting for me!
2-1/2 cups strawberries, sliced and frozen
2 cups blueberries, frozen
1/2 cup plain low fat yogurt (I used Greek Yogurt), plus 2 tbsp
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
a little extra liquid, to get the blender going
Place the frozen berries in the bowl of a food processor (I used the blender) fitted with S blade. Process until smooth. Gradually add the yogurt and lemon juice and process until completely incorporated. Serve immediately or cover and freeze in individual sized portions for up to 2 weeks. If you freeze portions, let them sit at room temp for 10 minutes before eating.

Risa's notes:
I used the blender and needed some extra liquid to get the blender going. So, I used a bit more lemon juice and a bit of water. I also added some Truvia because the berries didn't make this sweet enough for my tastes. About 1/3 of a packet did the trick.

Sounds great!!
Thank you, sounds wonderful
sounds good.
Thanks for the recipe!
Thanks, Risa!
this is something I think I would really enjoy
Sounds like the smoothies I make. I add a bunch of fruit, no particular amount, just toss in what looks good, plain non fat yogurt, and a bunch of ice. Strawberry, banana, blueberry is one of my favorites. Today I made one with banana and watermelon.
