As everyone has, I've seen all the holiday magazines starting to appear on the shelves. I was in Shoprite on Saturday and picked up the Everyday with Rachael Ray Holiday issue. BTW, if you subscribe to her magazine you do NOT get this in the subscription. I had to buy it separately. It is a $10 magazine BUT I didn't buy it at Shoprite. I decided to see if they had it at Costco for 30% off. They did. I bought it there.
I also got the December issue of Cooking with Paula Deen and the December issue of Cooks Country Magazine - all at 30% off. Costco also had the Taste of Home holiday magazine, the BHG Cookie magazine and a few of the others.
The Rachael Ray magazine is broken into several sections - one for each type of food - Breads, Appetizers, etc. Some very tasty recipes are in there. I may just use a couple of them this year.
Paula Deen's has a great breakfast recipe that I just may make - Steak & Eggs Breakfast Casserole. For those who love fruitcake, there is a whole section on it with several recipes. I'm not big on it and probably haven't eaten any in 10 years, maybe more.
Cooks Country has a good section on holiday cookies and a great recipe for Delmonico Potatoes and Foolproof Popovers.
What holiday magazines have you purchased? Which ones do you recommend?

I do need another dessert recipe if you come across a good one to share.
