I was thinking about those long lists that all the magazines publish in the January issue - all the new products or foods of the year. What people will be eating, what is trendy. I almost always think that I am ahead of everyone because I am always surprised at how many of those food items I have been eating or cooking with for ages.
I decided I needed a list of the items that I fell in love with this year or items that I cooked with more than others.
Here is my list:
Ian's Panko Breadcrumbs - Whole Wheat Panko(comes in 9 oz plastic container)
Penzey's Smoky 4S Seasoned Salt
Penzey's Spicy 4S Seasoned Salt
Snack Food: Cheeto's Cheddar Jalapeno Crunchy Cheeto's
Salsa: Archer Farms Salsa Verde (and the Simmer Sauces from Target)
What are some of yours?

Okay, my church has taken to selling Equal Exchange coffee, tea and chocolate the 3rd Sunday each month after the servie. EE is a fair trade company where the actual laborers earn a decent living because a lot of middlemen are cut out and we pay more for products because there is no slavery or serfdom involved in their making. Also, the products re organic. We support decent lives for third world agricultural laborers/crop owners by drinking EE coffee, tea, chocolate and eating the EE chocolate bars (and decent lives for the chocoate bar factory worker/owners).
