My NAME here on Gather - a rant and explanation

I want to address the fact that rhere have been some comments left about my Sassy Cat's name and talking about another Sassy Cat here on Gather and how there should only be ONE Sassy Cat.

I want to stress the fact that my Gather name is NOT Sassy Cat.

My name here on Gather is d2the4

I wish I knew how to make the font larger on my Gather name, but since I don't I just put it in bold print to empasize the point.

The name "Sassy Cat" is only what I named my icon.  And I call her "S.C.".  I only wrote out what the "S.C." stands for because those initials are also the abbreviation for the state of South Carolina.  I was only trying to clarify what the initials stand for.  I was not saying that my name is Sassy Cat.  I realize that most people do not name their icons.  I only gave mine a name because when finished the photo editing I thought the "S.C." fit her and would be a fun name for her.  But then realized that there would be some people who would assume I am from South Carolina since my profile doesn't state what state I live in . . . and I'm not from South Carolina.

Once again, my name here on Gather is d2the4.

I hope this clears up this issue and no one will think I was calling myself by someone else's name.

Perhaps this rant shows that I am being too soft-skinned this morning, but as I read the comments that were left, I felt the need to express myself and clarify the issue.

Now I will go have another cup of coffee and come back to Gather later in the day.

I am working through returning comments to all of you and I hope to get caught up in that endeavor by day's end.
