Trip to the Er on Christmas Eve.

My poor 6 year old had to take a trip to the ER tonight. Santa happened to come early and was here last night so when the boys got up this morning the tree was full of gifts. One of the presents my 6 year old got is those little bead art things.

This evening before dinner one got stuck in his ear somehow. We tried getting it out with no luck and so we took him to the ER because we weren't wanting to stick things in his ear and make it worse. They hadno luck either. On the 26th we are going to have to take him to a Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist.

He seems to be doing alright. Nothing like a little excitement on Christmas.

He isn't having any pain or anything, so they just said to keep an eye on it until we can get him into the ENT - it is pretty far in and under the bone.

My goodness. I bet he won't put anything in his ear again. Bless his little heart. I know he'll be okay. Sort of scary what kids do sometimes.

I've been to the ER on Christmas Eve with my kids too...LOL...Pher broke his arm a couple years ago when a big over weight person fell on him at the ice skating rink. Unfortunately, we were in Virginia at the time....that cut our trip rather short.

We had to take our son a couple of months ago... He somehow managed to get a popcorn kernel stuck in his ear!! Poor sweetheart.

Uh oh!! Thats not good. I can remember my one sister doing stuff liek that two or three times. The doctor finally yelled at my sister and said he was going to swat her if she did it again. Needless to say she never did.
