My son had a tooth that had been hanging on by a string. The "grown up" tooth was already starting to come through even! My husband and I finally decided that tonight was the night it was going to come out. My son tried pulling it himself but couldn't do it. He wanted me to do it, but I just couldn't. It gives me goosebumps just looking at his tooth like that, I couldn't possibly pull it out. His dad finally pulled it out. Does this type of thing bother you? Could you have pulled the tooth? Or......is it just me?

The other day my 11 year old kept saying his tooth was so close to being out. Finally, I had just heard enough of it. I pulled the car over on the side of the road. I found dental floss and I hooked it on the tooth. I told my 13 year old to get out of the car and open his brothers door, then grab the dental floss and pull.
The tooth is out and laying in the grass somewhere on the side of State Road 24.
I couldn't do it!
