Hello gather friends,
I have been busy, but things are starting to slow down a bit now. My daughter went back to GA with her 5 children, so that makes 5 still here. We had a great time together. It is so exciting to have so many children around. I think it's going to take a while to recoup from this extended vacation housing as she was here for 3 weeks or more.
The children we brought home from KY are doing well. Friends and neighbors have been wonderfully generous. We have enough clothes to see the younger 2 through the fall and into winter.
Half the time the 3 year old calls me 'Mama,' but mostly they call me 'Grandma.' They are beautiful children, but haven't had much discipline. They were home schooled and have little or no social skills.
Life in general is very good. God has blessed us all. Thanks for all the prayers. Keep in touch.

What heroes you and your husband are. Thank God you have taken those children in, and they didn't have to go to foster care. Y'all are angels. I have such admiration for you. I am keeping y'all in my prayers. you are a light to all.
