Things Gather needs

One thing that has struck me is the lacking of some functionality that would make Gather a bit better.

1: A "Last" link.  When browsing friends, articles and such, there is a "First", "Previous", "Next" links, but not a "Last" link.  Also there doesn't appear to be a way to jump to a specific page.  You have to keep clicking on "Next"
2: A reference to a comment to a comment.  Sure, you can comment back to a person, but there is no way that person really knows that you have commented on your comment unless they look at your article again.  This I see is a serious fault of Gather.  There is no real way to start a conversation.

These are the things I can think off on the top of my head.  Feel free to add your own little dislikes.  ^_^

3: Oh yes...  Global/friend group settings.  You have to set individual settings to every individual friend.  I wish there was a setting you can set to a group of friends.  For instance, I want to see all posts done by friend A, and friend B, but not friend C.  I would put Friend A & Friend B in a group and set the group to notify me about a posting they did.

Edit AGAIN:
4: Ah, forgot...  Group settings.  I would like to know when something is posted in a given group.  For instance, if someone posts something in the Doctor Who group, I have to go to that group manually to find out if anyone posted in there.  Very tedious.
