A Smile from Joshua

Today i have a special smile my grandson gave to me
He reminding me of how our love, will always be a special gift for both of us.

He is my eldest of ten grand children,and he lived with me the better part of his life until he was eight.being twenty-one going sixteen one day and going on forty the next,he can be mean and say biting words that hurt my soul.
his other Grandmother died recently...she was four years younger than my fifty-eight years.

He came home and sat me down and had a long talk about how he wishes he wouldn't get angry with the world and take it out on me.I do know that usually its the ones you love you hurt the most.
I am happy he knows he can come and talk with me and that we all (his mother, lives here also ) live together.

This was a very special gift from him Jules, for him to tell him that he appreciates you when he is not acting out, is how his heart really feels, and he can't tell you that all the time, so tuck it away and hold on to it. It makes my heart good to read it, I have a grandson that I am raising, you probably know, and he says he loves me everytime he passes my door, and those three little words just keep my world spinning around.
