My Favorite Tree ~ Photo essay

 I have always loved trees. I climbed them, swung from them, played on them,built forts in them, just sit and daydreamed on them. Of course, that was when I was a Tomboy.  Now I like to find a favorite one and just go sit under it or lean on it.  I find serenity doing this.  It's like visiting an old friend, who asks for nothing but  your company.

 I have a favorite here on the farm. It's not on our farm, but right on the corner of the mare's pasture. It's in all of my sunset pictures.  It's a grand old tree~  I have some quotes for trees and thought I'd share with those who love trees like I do.  Along with pictures I took today of my 'Favorite Tree'.

 This is where the Mares hang out. They love this tree for the shade. I see I'm not the only one that visits here, there is a foot stool under the fence.
