Ostara Ritual

Whether you call the celebration Ostara, Passover, Easter or one of the many other names it is known by, the spring Equinox is a time of renewal and fresh beginnings. Based on the harvest season, Ostara is the time for Wiccans and Pagans to bless the field and the seeds. Although most no longer so closely to the land, it is still a time for planting seeds for the future.

I knew this already. So very many of our so called "Christian" holidays and celebrations are actually pagen based practices. Christmas is the worst offender. I am a christian and I've done a lot of research on some of the practices that never seemed very Godly to me and lo and behold they are not ... most of them are pagen based and introduced into the church by the first pope. He liked money and loss of church members meant loss of money so the old pope found a way to combine their holidays with the christian beliefs. He was a real piece of work. Look him up on the internet, Pope Constantine.

If you really want an eye opener get yourself a Concordance that gives you the Greek and Latin meanings of the original words used in the Bible. You would be amazed at how different the Bible translates when you use a Concordance. After doing this, I decided that religion is very over rated and faith preserves.

One should never judge a belief by how it is presented by "society" as society changes its views to suit popular opinion. Regardless of the name you give God it makes him no less God. All he asks for is faith, religion is not required. Jesus blessed and offered miracles to those of all faiths, he did not discriminate. Perhaps we should all try to have such an open mind.

yep, the Bible is the most heavy edited book in history. If you were to read the unedited version, they would be shocked how it has changed. Religion is more about dogma. Spiritual is more about the Divine.
