Misconceptions about Tarot Readers and Other Intuitives

Even after twenty years of reading Tarot cards, I'm still stunned by the misconceptions some people have about what psychic readers do for their clients. . In reality, we can only tell you what your future options are at that specific moment in time. Everyone has freewill; each decision we make every moment of every day influences and changes future's possible options. I can tell a person that they will be getting a new job, but if they don't go out and look, their decision to stay home negates that possible future. If you want love, first love yourself then go out into the world; love won't find you if you are hiding in a closet, feeling sorrow for yourself.
Recently I received a call from a young woman. She wanted to know what her boyfriend was thinking and doing. I explained that it was unethical, but I could do a mini reading about her future options only. She agreed. I did a five card spread--two for the past, one for the present and the final two for the future. I had just started the first two cards, when she once again demanded to know about her boyfriend. I repeated my policy and she hung up. No doubt, she called another reader and I lost potential income. I could have shared any information which either directly involved her or where their lives overlapped. However, if I had given her the information she wanted, it would be akin to breaking into his home. He has the right to privacy. She has no rights to the information. Each of us is entitled to keep our thoughts, feelings and desire to ourselves. To intrude on another's privacy is black magic and opens ourselves to the same treatment by another.
What to expect from a reading
We don't create the future; we just tell you what your options are.
We can't fix your life, your issues, or change your path--only you have the power to make permanent changes.
Ethically we can't read for a third person, it invades their privacy and intrudes on their free will.
Asking the same question fifty different times or ways won't change the answer.
We can't make another person love you. Just because you love someone, it doesn't guarantee she or he will feel the same.
If you don't listen, the reader can't help you. When we give advice or options, you need to consider how it applies to your life. But you need to always use good judgment. Even the best reader isn't a 100%.
We can't force your dead ones to speak to you. If they don't want to talk, we can't force them.
We can't arrange for you to become pregnant or have a child.
If we had access to the winning lottery numbers, don't you think we would have used them ourselves?
What an ethical and honorable reader does is empower the client by giving accurate information and a glimpse into a possible future. By being the road map or signpost, we can give you advance notice of what lies down the individual paths before you. It is up to you to how you use the information for your best and highest good by making positive life choices.

My uncle did a tarot card reading for me right before I graduated high school. Looking back, it seems it was pretty accurate. He said I would date someone with light hair & eyes and I would think he was "the one" but he isn't. He also said I would later meet someone who is tall and dark & he would be the one. I did date someone with light hair & eyes and that didn't work out. I am now with someone tall & dark and so far it seems my uncle has hit the nail on the head. We have been together for 3 years and are still going strong.
Well, lo and behold, my husband had a severe moment of stupidity and cheated on me. We are trying to work things out, but that one night stand resulted in him having another child! So IF we stay together and IF all the kids came to live with us at one time, I would in fact have 5 children! It totally freaks me out and I am doing my best NOT to let this happen. I tried it once after Hurricane Katrina. We had my 2 step daughters and their younger sister stay with us for about a year. I almost had a nervous breakdown and actually had to ask the doctor for nerve pills at one point. I will NOT go down that route again.
Just goes to show, even you think there's no way in hell that something will happen or CAN happen................................it just might.
