Have a lot of sunscreen on! I didn't think I needed to re-do mine when I went on my first cruise and my front half got fried-so bad I couldn't walk the next day and I got sick! Take advantage of room service for late snacks-watch your money in the casino part-if your ship has a water slide go down it-sooo much fun and you will probably never see those people again!!LOL! Do as much as you can when the ship docks! Have so much fun!!

You're going to love it. Pack light, lots of sunblock, see as much as you can, don't drink too much so you'll be in good shape to see everything. Take a camera and lots of extra batteries too. Have a lot of fun and enjoy yourself. You'll want to go again next year!

Three tips.
Pack larger clothes along. (They serve a lot to eat. I'm not kidding.)
Take one extra empty luggage.
Ask your doctor for the rx patch to wear behind your ear, in case you get sea sick. It's excellent, no side effects except dry mouth.

My main tip is relax and don't try to do everything! There is so much to do both on and off the ship that you really have to prioritize what you want to do. Visit www.cruisecritic.com which is an onliine forum devoted to cruising. Sign up if there is a "Meet & Mingle" for your cruise. This is an RCCL sponsored gathering of cruisers where you have a great opportunity to meet others that you may have exchanged messages with on Cruise Critic. We did this on our last cruise and started the cruise with about 60+ new friends that we saw throughout the week. Plus, there are a number of forums on Cruise Critic dedicated to ports of call, Royal Caribbean, and all kinds of tips for first time cruisers. Have fun!

One more thing....make sure you sign up for the Crown & Anchor loyalty club. You'll likely be cruising again, and the perks for returning cruisers are great. Check out the details at the RCCL website.

I agree with Jeffery about CruiseCritic.com. Anything you ever wanted to know about cruising is on there. There will not be a Meet & Mingle for your cruise since it is not 7 days or longer, but you can meet informally with anyone you meet on the boards. Have a great cruise. The Navigator is one of my very favorite ships!

I have to say, you will enjoy your trip and much like everyone else is saying, do what you want to do. This is a time to try different things. I am reminded everytime I get on a ship how nice the staff is. I always try to catch the shows and do one shore excursion. Think outside of your world and let yourself just be the big kid you've always wanted to be!
