Member Cruises: What's on tap for our next adventure.

The Ultimate Alaska Adventure – our September Member Cruise! On September 14, over 1,200 Crown & Anchor Society members will sail from the port of Vancouver, Canada on our Ultimate Alaska Member Cruise! The 14-night itinerary onboard Radiance of the Seas® takes our members to Alaska’s Inside Passage, Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Hubbard Glacier, Icy Strait Point, Sitka, Seattle, Astoria, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Want the scoop on what’s in store for our lucky members? Gifts include backpacks, pulse meter stopwatches, neck wallets, travel mugs, Crown & Anchor scarves and traveling CD cases. Member activities include Crayola Adult Art Classes to learn how to make metallic image picture frames, decoupage journals and glass pendants, plus scrapbooking and towel-folding classes, a wine-tasting seminar and a gourmet cooking demonstration.

Diamond and Diamond Plus members will be treated to a complimentary shore excursion to Mendenhall Glacier and enjoy Wild Alaskan salmon grilled over an alder wood fire. We’ll also honor them and our Platinum members at a special brunch onboard.

It’s going to be a great time for members to get to know one another and explore an amazing area – with special treats to boot! We can’t wait to hear what our members enjoyed most on their Alaska adventure, and we look forward to welcoming more members onboard our upcoming member cruises.

What’s a member cruise, anyway? Throughout the year, we invite members to join us on cruise vacations at special savings not available to the general public. Once onboard, we throw in members-only events, parties, ship tours, shore excursions, classes and gifts. My husband and I have been on Royal Carribean may times. We are now Diamond Plus members. This line does everything they can to make your vacation a wonderful experience. Food, entertainment, accomadations and a safe journey. We have never had a problem with this line. Just think about it. While you are socializing, sleeping, are eating the ship is taking you to the next destination. You just unpack your bags and they take it from there.

Yes, me, my husband and our 4 year daughter are going on the Sept. 14 Ultimate Alaska Adventure. We just became Diamond Members, but due to having our daughter with us, we will miss the shore excursion to Mendenhall Glacier. What a bummer! But we are okay with that due to all the other great things that will be in store for us. After Alaska we will stay on board for the back to back Cruise to Hawaii. 15 days for that one. We will be on Radiance for a total of 29 Days!! We just can't wait to get started......

This is our first Alaska cruise and we are very excited. when we are done with this cruise we fly home and 4 days later we fly to florida for another caribean cruise which is my fourth free cruise from my royal caribean credit card. I have been online looking for flightsighting and came up with with one in skagway very reasonable and flying time is 1 to 2 hours depending on weather. we are able to have two others with us and maybe someone has interest in it cost is from 179 to 319 depending on weather.

Our first cruise ever was on the Radiance of the Seas to Alaska back in June 2002. Have now completed nine cruises, two with RCL with our other RCL cruise being on the Voyager of the Seas to the Western Caribbean. All of our other cruises have been on Princess as they seem to have the best cruises out of LA which we really enjoy because we do not have to fly. We are really looking to next week's cruise as we will be able to disembark in LA. We always remember our first cruise aboard the Radiance as we were really treated well and are now confirmed cruisers. For those who are going the day before and want a good place to eat, we would recommend Joe Fontes Seafood and Chop House. This is located about 4 blocks from the Hyatt Regency for those of you staying there.

We are also on the 14 night Alaska member's cruise! It will be our first C & A member cruise and our first time to Alaska. But we aren't excited or anything... :)

We are also on this cruise, working on the packing this weekend. Our first trip to Alaska was ten years ago on the Legend, so looking forward to going back and FOURTEEN days this time. This is our first C & A cruise, we have heard great things about it and looking forward to meeting folks we have been chatting with the last year.

This is our 7th Cruise with RCCL, but first to Alaska. One appealing thing to us was the fact that it comes to port in L.A., where we plan to stay another week with our son and family thanks to RCCL's custom airfare.

I'm glad that everyone is getting excited for the cruise. I have to start packing soon because I fly out to Vancouver on Thursday. We have lots of surprises in store for everyone so it should be a wonderful time!

Thanks for the connection invite. I happen to be)a Crown & Anchor member with 3 cruises behind me. The latest was the Alaska cruise from Seattle to Juneau. We loved it. I also love Royal Carribean. :0)

Just back from our first "Platinum" cruise in the Western Med. Looking forward to racking up a few more cruises to reach Diamond status and beyond!
