Let's see: on one of Jacob's birthday pictures you asked what was under the frosting. Well of course, it was CAKE!

Actually, it was a white cake with raspberry filling. He loves the fruit fillings. I guess most kids don't, though. 2 yrs ago, he wanted a homemade strawberry cake with strawberry filling. My daughter made a gorgeous 4 layer cake with the filling and most of the kids threw the cake in the garbage can. The adults all loved it and Jacob did too.

I'm not doing anything at all today. Just sitting around, playing on the computer. I finished my BT points and am returning comments here now. Have to go back to work tomorrow and not looking forward to that.

I'm 99.7% sure I am giving up my guaranteed position at the hospital come September and just working in the supplemental pool. I will lose benefits and am a little worried about that.

I've been there 35 yrs and I think it's time to start backing off. I will continue to be scheduled 6 days a month and hope I can get those days in. That would cover the greatly increased price of health insurance when I have to COBRA it.
