I think Jellyfish are, hands-down, the most amazing creatures I've ever seen. Never the same twice, they have afforded me some spectacular photo ops over the past couple of years since I got my Sea World annual pass... but this past weekend, for some reason, they seemed even more fascinating than usual, and I thought I should share some of my photos.
Anyone for a Jelly Sandwich?

I tried to sort these shots out, because I know they aren't all perfect shots... but even the bad ones had something unique and beautiful, to me... so I ended up including all of them.

There were two different kinds of Jellyfish, in two separate aquariums. One kind is Moon Jellies, and the other is Comb Jellies... but darned if I can ever remember which is which.

I love the touch of pink here, which adds such a delicacy to the shot.

And this one... barely even there...

Ever seen the movie, "The Abyss"? I think they got the idea for the aliens from these creatures...

This wasn't a good shot, but it's so soft...

This one is on my desktop right now. It makes great wallpaper!

Again, just a touch of pink...

This one didn't even appear to be moving, but apparently, it was.

What kind of amazing "mind" created this?

Or this?

Again, soft and delicate...

Oops! I misspoke a moment ago. This is the one on my desktop. I can sit and stare at it for hours...

Another Jelly sandwich?

So simple, and yet so complex...

Do you think they get emotionally attached to one another? These two make you think so.

This one reminds me of a drop of water...

BFF's?

Yes, I think so...

Thanks for letting me share some of my favorite things with you. I hope you all get a chance to see them in person.
