Pictures of the Home We Rented in Pigeon Forge

Here are some photos of the house we rented when we were in Pigeon Forge.  The cabin we rented was called the Streamside Getaway, and is managed by Colonial Properties who manages several different privately owned cabins in various sizes in case anyone is intersted.  Renting a cabin there only cost us $120 a night which is about the same price as most hotels these days and we got a 2 bedroom home, and a full kitchen, and 3 bathrooms.

Very interesting. How did you like your stay? How easy was it to get where you wanted to go? I'd like to go there. What did you like most about Pigeon Forge?

The cabin was down a winding road, The winding road took about 2 minutes to get through then after you pull out of the winding road most of the attractions begin about a 1/2 mile to a mile down the road. Wonderwords was in my opinion the best attraction we visited. Dollyworld is of course the place to go when you are there, also take trip Gatlinburg which is like 15 minutes away and go up the trails in to the Smokey Mountains. They are beautiful and it costs nothing to drive up there on your own.

It looks very nice. It is better to rent a home than to stay at a hotel.

That's beautiful. I had a former co-worker who co-owned some cottages in Pigeon Forge. I couldn't imagine leaving there if you owned property. :)

Renting cabins and small houses is more affordable than many people think. I love having a living room and a kitchen to cook in, it saves quite a bit of money and I get tired of eating out all the time.

I would love to take my family someday and stay in a private cabin like this. It looks like such a relaxing get-away.

I have rented cabins but some of them are clustered together. This means that the cabins are very close together and you get to hear all the noise from all the other cabins.

We didn't have any problem with this one. There was at least an entire house length distance from the next cabin over. There were some cabins that were closer than others, but ours was a nice amount away from the others, and behind it was mountain side so there was no one behind us, and no one in front of us.

Very nice cabin! We love to stay in them too. Once you figure in the savings of having a kitchen as opposed to eating out for every meal and the in-cabin entertainment (pool table, hot tub, games, etc.) it's usually cheaper than hotels.

I have never stayed in Pigeon Forge but have stayed in Gatlinburg about 4 trips... We would of course go into Pigeon Forge to Dolly Wood and do other things... I love the area.... its so beautiful....
