All My Bags Are Packed, I'm ready to GO.

I'm not leaving to go anywhere, but my kids are. They are psyched for a trip with Nana and Papa. I got all their suitcases packed yesterday for a trip to Chicago. They get to ride the train with my parents to visit my brother in Chicago. Also, it will be a much needed vacation for my husband and I.

                    

            Maddie was so excited she was about to come out of her skin!

                          

Aidan was excited about riding the train, (he's even got his Thomas the Train shirt on), but he was not happy about taking a photo.

                       

                      

                         He usually always obliges with a fake smile though.

I was going to say it will feel as if you are on vacation. Of course, we used to spend the entire time talking about the kids when they visited grandma.

I was teasing my husband that we are now on vacation. It feels great. I enjoy the quiet. I really take this time to catch up on things I want to do. I know they will be back soon enough.

Yes, I am so happy about the free time part. My kids love to spend time with their grandparents. They are very close to them.

Clean my house
Having a birthday party on Saturday night for my husbands 37th birthday
Take naps---oh glorious naps.
Play on the computer
Go shopping
Go out to a QUIET dinner with my husband
Do absolutely nothing if I want to! ha ha ha
Bubble baths!
Get my hair done tommorrow and highlights!

I could go on and on Steph-in-NE.

My Mom has a camera and she takes it everywhere, but she always forgets to take photos. My brother and sister in law are meeting them on the other end. They take billions of photos!

Yes, I was so excited for them to be able to go on a trip with their grandparents. However, I was way more excited for my husband and I to have some time together.

You would think you being on Gather and all that he'd get used to the camera eventually..There's a girl here, she was at the luau, she never smiles...In fact, she looks like she's pouting alllllll the time...She had to be tickled in nearly every photo just to look like she wanted to be there..Your kids just keep getting cuter every photo essay! Enjoy your break!

I know Diana, wasn't that so sweet of them. It's my husband birthday this weekend and we are having a big bbq with friends in our back yard. I think my parents wanted us to have a weekend to ourselves for his birthday. They are wonderful grandparents.

I have been busy doing all sorts of stuff. Shopping, getting my hair done, getting ready for a bbq we are having at our house tommorrow night with friends. It's been such a nice break for a change.
