It was a dreary, grey day, raining for hours. The grey soaked through my bones and brain; I was weary and barely keeping my eyes open, when suddenly, I noticed that the sun had come out.
No matter, I thought. It's going down, now. A quick peek out my office window confirmed that, as the sun had already slipped behind the house next to ours.
But it kept getting brighter, and brighter... and my curiosity got the best of me.
I grabbed my camera, just in case, and slipped into the garage, knowing I could stand inside and stay dry but still see what I needed to.

It was there, sure enough. I snapped a couple of photos, as quickly as I could, knowing that at any second, it might be gone. And then, as I turned to go, I realized it...
I don't think I've ever seen such a sight. It was a perfect, complete... double rainbow.

The photos are so lacking. How I wish I could show the whole thing all in one shot, so you could see the magnitude of this miracle.

Never mind, though. I saw it. I know what it was.

Never let it be said that I don't recognize a true miracle when I see it.

I'm always on the lookout too. The difference is I never see any :(
Julie, thanks for stopping by to see Zelda and pass on some advice! We were able to keep her OUT of the pond last night :-) She had a great time playing with her brother and Sparky! Do you think I can use aloe gel on her belly?
