Now with everything that has been going on with my MIL and FIL and my own Mothers health, My Mom just called me and told me my oldest nephew is in the hospital. He has been sick for over a week now, fever, vomitting and so forth. Saturday night his head started hurting him so bad he went to the ER in the local hospital. They did a CAT scan of his head, something is abnormal, they were not sure what so they transferred him to a better hospital.
The doctor came in and told my oldest sister (his Mom) that it could be an infection, a tumor or his brain may be bleeding. He is in the MRI right now so hopefully we may know some news soon. The poor kid is in so much pain they have him on Morphine.
I know the Lord is not suppose to give me more than I can handle, but I am beginning to wonder. I am very close to my family and we have had so many health issues lately. My cousins husband passed away last week of brain cancer, and this with my nephew is hitting a little close to home.
My extended family could sure use some prayers.

So we are to do our part. I also believe that each of us has trials that were pre-chosen to help us grow Spiritually.
Stay strong and take care of yourself. It's good for me to vent sometimes at gather. You can get a lot of support here and there are people who have been through just about everything, so you can also get a lot of advice.
He is being treated now with seizure medicine, he takes the same med that my 19 year old does. His Mom, my sister, is a nurse and she is going to find out today if his EEG is abnormal. I hope not. I also know he has some swelling in his brain and it is pressing against the personality part of his brain and making him quite irritable. I also found out last night he has a concussion, don't know why either.
