Honeymoon Vacation

Rick and I have been married for 5 years and 8 months. We never had a honeymoon. Two days after we got married, we were back at work. So a few months ago Rick tells me that a friend of his in Tampa, Florida got tickets to go to Wrestlemania. If you aren't a wrestling fan, that is like the World Series or Super bowl of professional wrestling. Rick is a HUGE wrestling fan, so his friend bought at ticket for Rick. Rick has wanted to go to Wrestlemania all of his life, so of course he was so excited about going.

To begin with, Rick was going to fly down to Florida and go to the show and then fly home the next day, but then I realized that I had almost 3 weeks of vacation time for the year from my job. We made the decision that we could use our credit cards to take a weeks vacation to Florida. We were going to fly down spend almost a week and come home. Then something even more amazing happened!

Rick got on a special shift at work where he only works Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Since I have so much vacation time, I took Monday the 24th of March through Thursday the 3rd of April off. We are going to leave on Monday and spend a few days with my family in West Virginia, head to Florida on Wednesday or Thursday, and spend the weekend there. Then we are going to head back to West Virginia for a few more days before heading home. We will be back by the 3rd, so Rick and I can both go back to work on Friday! I am so very excited about this trip!

But there is also something I would like to ask. Hubby and I have never been to Florida - other than I was there for a cruise in high school, but I didn't actually do anything except go from the plane to a bus to the ship. I am so excited about going down there, and I would love it if ANYONE has any advice as to what to do. We are planning on going to Disney World on Friday, and I want to go to Busch Gardens, Sea World. I would LOVE to go to the beach because Rick has never seen the ocean. I'd also like to go to a Hard Rock Cafe, because I've never been to one.

Rick's friend will be working while we are there, so we will have to entertain ourselves for some of the week we are there. I would love ideas! We are staying in Tampa, but I'm willing to go anywhere if I can find directions on the internet! I'm also taking my laptop and digital camera, so be prepared when we get back for loads and loads of photos!!!
