Some People Are Just So Nice

Just before Christmas, I received a Christmas card from my cousin. I have not seen this particular cousin for years. We have reconnected here on gather. In the card was a beautiful homemade bookmarker. It was such a surprise. She had not even given me a hint that it was comming.  She put trinkets on both ends. One says "Follow your heart". The other one is a heart.

It made me feel very special to receive this wonderful gift. Things were really crazy around our home at the time, so I did not get to post a photo of it. I am using it in my scriptures.

 Most of you probably  know my cousin, Pam. I just wanted to show you the beautiful bookmark that she made special for me. Some people are just so compassionate and sweet. Pam is one of those ladies.

What a wonderful gift! I've gotten to a point in my life where I realize so many gifts end up regifted, put in a closet or otherwise not really appreciated. Small personal gifts that come from the heart are priceless, and that is what is usually intended.

What a great present. I could so use one of those right now. I'm using a christmas card as a bookmark for my books. I guess it works just as well but yours is prettier.

Connie, I had a tooth pulled, got sick with it. That is what made my day so horrible yesterday. I am ok today, just very tired and sore.
