A toasted club on whole wheat with a touch of mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, black olives, pickles and light crushed pepper. Did I mention Provolone for the cheese? Shakes, no oil. And, if they have them sprouts and avacado. ( I wish they would get them out here, in California I used to be able to get them, but not in upstate New York...)
Today we are making subs at home for dinner. turkey and tuna, we have yummy roasted peppers and peppercinis as well as all of the usual stuff. I think I could eat a sub every week and not get sick of them. If you eat meat and live in a place where they have a JRECK Subs, Try the steak sub with everything on it, It is so good. I am even talking the lettuce, tomatoe and mayo.
2 favorites - eggplant parmesan (as long as the eggplant is fried, not baked) with a lot of cheese OR a good philly cheesesteak with all the trimmings (mushrooms, onions, peppers, you name it). Anything really messy and delicious.

I usually prefer vegetarian subs on gourmet breads. LOTS of cheese.
