hey everyone! just wanted to bring you all up to date on my latest baby news! as most of you know i am due one week from today. I have been axiously awaiting the birth of my daughter for a few weeks now. As I have posted in previous articles...the past few weeks have been interesting! Besides the usual discomforts of the last few weeks of pregnancy like sleepless nights, soreness, discomfort, and anxiety.....i have had some additional issues with Polyhydramnios. This condition is when you have too much amniotic fluid. I have been being monitored closely due to this and very nervous on how this could affect myself and the baby. Today I went to the doctor for my check-up and to find out what would be happening if I didn't go into labor by my due date next week. The doctor told me I would be having this baby before this week was over either by induction or c-section. We discussed options and I told her whatever was safest for baby and me was fine. She decided to schedule me for a c-section tommorow morning at 7:30am. I have to be at the hospital by 5:30am to be prepped for surgery. Finally my daughter will be here! I am a little nervous about surgery, but okay with it. At least it is scheduled and I no longer have the worries of going into labor , my water breaking, and a chance of any complications due to the extra fluid! I can't beleive its finally here...my baby will be born on January 9th! Thanks to all my gather friends for your support, kindness, and company over the past few weeks! I wont be on for at least a few days to a week after tonight...so have a great time while i am gone! I'll post pictures and info on baby as soon as I can!

After you will be a bit sore. Get up and walk as soon as they let you. That was a big help with the second child. My first I was scared it hurt too bad, but really the more you move about at the hospital the faster you are able to manuever etc. It will be sore but you heal fast. It is not a terrible thing so don't be scared.
I think in all honesty I would rather have a C section, just cause I am a big wimp lol!
Congrats on your baby girl let us know how it goes.
Amy
Just remember to get out of bed as soon as they'll let you - the faster you're up, the faster you'll heal!
God bless you!
'BOUT TIME!
Good luck and remember that deep breathing, it helps!
