Update on my daughter

I know you are all probably wondering how my daughter is?? Well she turned 12 on Saturday. It's good news because now if she does something to my son we can call the cops right away.

She hasn't really been getting better...but I have an appointment at the end of the month with the doctors so hopefully they will diagnose her being bipolar or up her meds. I caught one of her meltdowns on tape and I plan on showing them it. Then I will have my proof.

I just hope they will finally believe me... but all anyone ever sees is how cute she is....MAKES ME MAD!

I can't imagine how frustrating this is for you. Glad you have the evidence and something MUST be done as far as treatment for her goes. Tough calls you have to make there Mom, but it shows how much you love them both.

I'm so very sorry to hear about your little girl. And the struggle you must be going through to do the best to each of your children. I hope you find someone to help you and your family with this terrible turmoil. It must be so hard knowing that one of your children is sick and you can't get anyone to give her (and the rest of you) the help you all need.

I hope you get the help you need in dealing with this.

It's pretty common for a person with a mental illness to be very lucud ( even more so thatn the health professionals ) while at an appointment
My oldest son was Hyper active ( they call it something else now) and he was the calmest sweetest little guy at the doctors They all thought I was just not paying enough attention to him. Truth was the other two lost out because he required most of my attention. Doctors need to quite the judgements

Just one more pro of having some video surveillance going on in the home when the situation calls for it. Everyone has to cover their buns nowadays.

I hope the video helps because sadly children cam be masters of manipulation and outsiders just have no clue. I have never had any trouble with my daughter or her half brothers but I would be doing just what you are if I were. I was really lucky with the timing of her birth that the "danger" zone that I felt with her brothers was gone.

It is nice to see you! I am sorry that she is still having uh...difficulties.

It must be hard for her too to try and tell the docs what she was feeling days before she sees them. I know that it is hard for me and I am supposed to be an adult:) I am glad that you got it on tape.

I hope things work out for you hon, I know its difficult when everyone looks at her and says...oh she's so cute, and they don't know what chaos she is causing at home, unfortunately mental illness can't always be seen. That's gotta suck when the doctors won't believe you. I hope that the tape helps, and they can give her something to help her. I feel bad for you mom, this has got to be so hard on you, try to stay positive, I think that tape will be the ticket to getting her some help!

I must have mised the article about her! IM sorry I must be a bad connection! I thought I was doing great keeping up but we must just seem to get on at different times! Well Im here and wont forget ya again!

Well I was gone for a month or 2 from around Oct- Dec.. just on a bit.. it was beginning of pregnancy and my MIL last months with life. She passed December 15th.. then a few weeks later I got back into my routine!

Please keep us posted. I think it's a great idea you were able to catch her meltdown on tape. It's always good to have evidence. I will not go anywhere without my video camera, and camera phone.
