It is so amazing how little ones are like sponges soaking up everything they can, from a simple walk outside to the accidental slip of a curse word... I love watching the youngsters learning something new and exciting!!! I sometimes learn something new right along with them...
Do you realize how many shapes can be made out of a simple peanut butter and jelly sandwich??? If we have a sandwich, we must contemplate whether or not to cut it and what way to cut it if we do... Leave it alone-it's a square. It can be 2 large triangles, 2 rectangles, 4 small triangles, or 4 little squares...
Oh the joy of learning is so wonderful!!! I really love how little it takes to teach size and shape with a simple sandwich!!!
What is the simplest or most fun way you have come across in teaching your children???

We would play "I see something", and one person would have to describe what they saw and the other would guess what it was. Then, it would be the other person's turn to describe. It's great for learning colors, shapes, identifying objects, learning to observe the world around us, etc., in a fun way.
