Webkinz and Christmas

I know I am an adult...  However, I LOVE Webkinz!!!  Ebay sellers are now pre-selling the new ones coming out...  There are really cute penguins and reindeer for the Holidays, as well as some of the upcoming releases not yet on the Webkinz site...  The arabian horse is super cute by the way!!!

If you are not familiar with Webkinz, they are furry little animals, that come with a code to enter online.  The furry little critter lives online in Webkinz World.  The owner of the precious animal has the stuffed animal to cuddle with and can play with it online...  The wonderful world of Webkinz has games to play, stores to shop in to purchase virtual items for your pet, educational quizzes, a post office where your pet can send notes or gifts to their friend's pets, a clinic for when your pet is sick, and an employment office for your pet to find a job...

The kids love clothing their pets, decorating their pet's home, and talking to their pets...  They also like knowing when their friends are also on Webkinz World with the little cell phone in the corner and can invite their friend's pets over to their pet's house or play games against each other.  There is a little trick to that-they have to be in the same color zone, but I don't get it...

As a parent, I love that the kids are taking care of their pets by feeding, clothing, and interacting with them, and playing learning games to get KinzCash to spend on their pets...  I also love that parent's can block the Clubhouse (chatrooms) completely if they wish.  My favorite feature of the site is that the children cannot type in words when sending mail etc.  It is all preselected phrases!  Unless you allow them to join the Clubhouse that is free typing...  Still the site blocks the entire message if it contains number sequences and certain keywords such as street, drive, city, address, and so on... 

I have a Webkinz, my husband has a Webkinz, soley to keep up with the changes in the site and suprise the kids from time to time with little gifts for their pets...  Secretly we like to play with our little pets more than we would like to admit...
