Is this trend for real???

I have noticed an increase in the change of teenage boys dressing habits lately...

There are only a few skateboarders running around our neighborhood and I must note that these boys are actually pretty good kids...

The first time I noticed this, I thought the poor thing had borrowed his sister's jeans for a lack of something else to wear... Then again, I choked on my drink and was hardly able to contain the laughter...

One of the three boys was wearing skin tight stretch jeans with the tapered legs....

Now the others are following... The more I watch these "skaters" the tighter their clothing is getting...

Apparently it is helpful in doing tricks and such... Perhaps an attempt at being more aerodynamic....

Teenage boys choose to dress like this??? REALLY??? I am amazed!!! They look ridiculous and a tad bit feminine to say the least....

Tell me this is a new trend and that it will die out soon!!!

The new trend does indeed seem to be skin tight pants. I've noticed a few as the local high schoolers pass my house. I laugh though that several cities and counties have passed laws fineing people who wear baggy pants. It seems sadly now, they are one fashion trend behind.

Hmm...I always wondered how we breathed in the 80s with the skin tight clothes, but now the clothes seem ever tighter!

Next they'll be wearing speedos and shaving their legs in the pusuit of being more aerodynamic... HA HA that would be a site... Distasteful boarding gone bad videos would flood the net and tv... I shudder at the thought...

I don't know. I still feel peeved about the 50 dollars plus one of our supposedly "bright" teens spent on torn up jeans at a store. They looked like something that had been chewed to death by rats. I was just grateful the holes weren't in places where any private part of their anatomy could get out (without great effort, at least).

I read an article about a shop in NYC where the sales person said if you can breathe the pants aren't tight enough! Yes it's the latest trend, and it looks sooo uncomfortable. I like it when clothes leave something to imagination!

WHAT??? I'm glad this trend hasn't made it to my town yet. I want the skinny trend to be over so I can just go and buy a pair of jeans without searching and searching. Excuse me, I don't want to see your fat rolls hanging out, and I'm not going to enable anybody to see mine.
