It's my husbands birthday today...

It's my husband's birthday today. I was the only one to remember. So I thought I would share a bit about him.

He is turning 37! Shhh don't tell him I told you!!

I met him 7 years ago on the internet. I was in a Yahoo chat room looking for a cowboy...and then his name popped up. I knew that I had to meet him. He sent me his profile pic. I really wish I still had it.

A month after we started talking on the phone we met. It was crazy. I couldn't believe he was really there with me. I had a daughter from a previous marriage so they had to meet each other. He wanted me to move to the other side of Canada to be with him. I still hadn't decided.

By the time he left I had made my decision. I would be in Alberta in a month. It would be alot of work to get everything sold so then I could be with him, but it would be worth it when I got there. I had to pack all of our stuff all by myself.

When I got to Alberta it was all so surreal. Here was my new life. With someone I only knew over the phone. I had left my whole family back where I came from.

On October 11, 2001 he proposed to me. It was so sweet. So the wedding happened May 14, 2005. In the meantime...we had a son in November of 2002.

He has embraced my daughter as his own. So many people have no clue that that isn't even his biological daughter. But he is a real father....that loves us all!
