Democratic National Committee Chairman Hoard Dean took his turn today on "Fox News Sunday". In doing so, he defended the DNC's political ads that bash John McCain for "being out of touch with the economy and foreign policy".
He also criticised the Republican National Committee's ads that connect other state and local democratic candidates to the Obama/Wright fiasco.
Dean doesn't agree with Obama that Reverend Wright's statements are a legitimate political issue. Dean didn't want to go into the Wright issue, saying "He's caused enough trouble for our country over the last few weeks".
Last year, led by then Democratic hopeful John Edwards, the Democrats decided to not participate in a debate on Fox. The debate had to be cancelled.
Dean stated , at the time it was the right thing to do. But now he takes a different view: now is the right time for Democrats to return to the network to reach out to all Americans because there are some things in the news department that have really been shockingly biased, and I think that's wrong. And I'll just say so right up front. But it is important also for us not - we shouldn't punish the viewers of FOX by staying away".

Dean is the best thing the Republicans have going for them. I hope the Democrats don't fire him over the Florida - Michigan rules fiasco.
