(Before the very next vote for any office, let's first fix the electronic voting machines. Give every voter an instant paper receipt that shows the exact candidates and issues he or she supported. And why not give everyone some kind of immediate discount coupon for local businesses -- like Jewel Food Store has at their checkout lines? Sounds like a plan to me! Now on with the countdown...).
1. Save the republic = save the world. Ron Paul is really the only candidate who will end our perpetual overseas entanglements -- where troops are stationed in at least 130 different countries. These "commitments" are bankrupting America with high debt, spreading more terrorism, and undermining our own defenses here at home.
Then consider all the human and environmental destruction inflicted -- especially by the thousands of tons of depleted uranium munitions the U.S. (and British) governments have used in the Middle East and other parts of the world. Let's do the right thing -- bring home the troops to protect America, and let the healing begin!
2. If 'Consumer Reports' ever had a section for Presidential candidates, Ron Paul would be the Acura of the pack! His ultra-consistent pro-taxpayer voting record is as solid as the gold standard he supports. He also never votes for any spending not specifically authorized by the Constitution. Sure there are lots of things that government does, which have a laudable public purpose. But those things should be done by individuals through free association, whenever possible -- not through the coercive guns of government!
3. Be part of the fastest growing, grass roots freedom revolution -- since the civil rights movement. And that's exactly what this is. Citizens across the political spectrum are rallying to defend our founding principles, and expressing this passion in millions of astounding ways. It is truly awe-inspiring, and this freedom train will never stop!
4. It is said that Ron Paul's views are too radical, and don't fit in with our "modern world." Nonsense! Our government has become far too large and unrepresentative to average Americans, and is too often held hostage to well-connected corporate special interests. The only way to stop this incestuous relationship, is to cut off its fuel supply -- end the income tax, and dramatically reduce spending. Even if Dr. Paul only achieves a tenth of what he wants to do, we will still be in much better shape!
5. Ron Paul is the only candidate who will stop the insidious tax of inflation, by abolishing the Federal Reserve and restoring the power to coin money back to Congress. He will allow alternative currencies to arise and grow (some of which, like E-Gold, are already on the internet and elsewhere). This will diversify the monetary system, protect us from general economic crashes, and give us real options. It will also restore our purchasing power and Americans will no longer be tax-slaves to a consortium of private bankers. And the federal government will have one less incentive for automatic growth. After all, wouldn't you rather have gold than "funny paper?"
6. Health Freedom. With the possible exception of Tom Tancredo (who recently dropped out of the race), Dr. Ron Paul is the only candidate who fights for your rights to control your own body and health care destiny. The ugly spectre of poor / minority kids (and parents) being held at gunpoint for forced vaccination, at Prince George Maryland, is a crime against humanity. A recent film clip of the late Dr. Maurice Hilleman (of Merck) admits that MILLIONS of cancer viruses have been injected into unknowing citizens. This clip was unfortunately removed from a PBS documentary called 'The Health Century,' under pressure from drug companies fearing greater liability. Ron Paul would hold them fully accountable, end this kind of tyranny, and pass the Health Freedom Protection Act to secure your wellness choices. Most other candidates, from Edwards to Romney, actually supporting expanding the evil of "gunpoint medicine!"
7. Ron Paul is the ultimate "anti-candidate." Although he has achieved many extraordinary successes (school sports records, Air Force, delivering 4000 babies, ten terms in Congress), he comes across as a humble, ordinary man -- maybe even boring? But once he starts talking about freedom, the effect is electrifying!
8. Ron Paul is the natural heir to Ronald Reagan -- without the overspending and overextended foreign policy. Both Rons have excelled at swimming and both have studied the great Austrian economist Ludwig von Mises (who predicted the fall of Communism). Now Ron Paul, like Reagan, can restore our basic pride in America -- and begin an economic Renaissance to inspire the world!
9. Ron Paul is the only candidate to fully understand the dangers of collectivism and (crony) globalism. He fully supports true free trade -- but without the sovereignty-threatening entanglements like WTO, NAFTA, and GATT.
10. Ron Paul has the broad-based, freedom-across-the-board philosophy to truly unite America and defeat other candidates. Like a recent slogan goes, "Dr. Paul will free you now!"

Visionaerie, GOP or third party or not on the ballot I WILL STILL VOTE FOR RON PAUL.
I may have to write his name on my ballot but I SHALL vote for him.
Both the RNC & the DNC is punishing a number of states that moved their primaries up by not allowing their delegates to the convention. Democratic candidates have already agreed to not campaign in some of these states.
That's right. After all the bleeding and crying about the "disenfranchisement" of votes in Florida (remember those #$@% hanging chads), entire states have been told their votes are empty. And, we've barely heard a peep.
For those of us who live in states (not important enough to go early), we may have one caveat. This is a new situation that's been created. With the closeness of this race, later states may actually get to play a more significant role - if the tensions of this close race continues - and candidates discover that they may actually need the support of later states.

It seems like what has happened, is that the government has become gradually "crony privatized," so it can do all kinds of nefarious things under a number of shadowy organizations. I bet Fox News will get a lot of heat for trying to keep Paul out of their debate -- their stock has already taken a hit, for example. It's sad that the big media has such a "puppet pulling" influence, but alternative media is thankfully also showing some real muscle. Steve Chapman also had a good article (with help from Judicial Watch) about corruption in some of the major candidates. Thanks for your great observations and may the best ideas (and people) win!
Can't vote, but good luck....
If by "people like him" you mean human beings with a pulse, then you're absolutely right.
I'm sorry, but I'm tired of being accomodating and nice. I have to say; I am now officially sick and tired of these disinformed people parroting whatever b.s. smears about Ron Paul they read on their favorite socialist or neocon warmonger website.
Do some friggin' research for yourself before you go around spounting blatant falsehoods and smears like "Ron Paul only wants freedom for white men."
Like five times now I've read some dolt on a forum say something lke "Ron Paul claims he's a libertarian, but he doesn't think women should be free to choose whether or not to have a baby."
I'm serious, I've actually seen people writing that on numerous occasions! As if being pro-life somehow means you would "force women to have a baby."
I think socialism literally makes people dumber.
But I know you're right. More bees with honey, and all...
