If you love Southern Literature then the Conference on Southern Literature is a must-attend event. The 2009 Conference is scheduled for April 2-4, 2009 and is the Arts & Education Council of Chattanooga's s signature program.
This year's celebration will mark 20 YEARS since the Fellowship of Southern Writers selected Chattanooga for its headquarters and chose to collaborate with the Conference on Southern Literature. The 2009 Conference will feature up to 50 members of the Fellowship, discussing hot topics and reading from their latest works. With nine prize winners and eight new members being inducted, this event is also the place to discover up-and-coming voices in Southern literature.
