on page not found it has EXPLORE on it, click on Explore and it takes you there

Locating recent content is difficult for members that don't switch to the new home page. Plus, visitors to the site cannot display recent content at all (as far as I can tell). Hence, less page views for all. Yay!

However, there are some aspects of this change that I am happy with.

OK some you are happy with??? How will you get views to your posts? when there is no general page...
It gives you a choice, But the reality is there is no choice. Gather programmers would make good politicians, You have a choice... no wait there is no choice.
How can you build a site if you deny visitors from seeing our posts when they google searches. Some of us here are looking for Publishers, This was the original intention of GATHER, when I first joined in 2005, before there was even an ad here.
It is clear Kevin, you don't post articles here and are not active in commenting and then trying to go back to posts, You have to back page 2 times to go back and then there is no refresh on the posts page.... So Many errors. If I happened at my work the programmer would be looking for a new job... roadbuilding.

By the way, I'm just a member like everyone else. I don't work for Gather.

FYI, If you stop by the HelpCenter sometime (link below), I might be able to provide you with some work-arounds for these problems. I am posting tips for using the update throughout the day today too.

So why do you masquerade as though you do work for Gather?

All of my content identifies that it is member sponsored, as well as my groups. I also inform members (like I did above) that I do not work for Gather. Therefore, I take all steps that I realistically can to ensure that members do not make that mistake. It is Gather's responsibility to clearly identify their staff members in the community, not the other way around.

Hi GD-

We know the change will require a little adjustment. There is still a place to see all recent member posts. In fact, it's easier to get to than before. On the homepage, you will notice an option (bottom left) for "All of Gather feed" with the orange "g" to the left of it. If you click that link shows you all posts, images, and videos that were recently posted to Gather. I hope that helps!

If it is easier why is every one complaining that they can't find them and why are most posts just getting just a couple of views and one or 2 comments. SINCE the Upgrade..

Some are complaining, this is true. There are BUGS... there are always BUGS with these things. It's being worked on.... adjustments are getting made. I'm not particularly happy with some of the changes, but I'm giving it a bit of time for them to work out the 'technical' bugs.

I haven't seen any of the upgrades yet. I usually seem to miss a lot as I get certain groups posts all in my regular Inbox, I rarely go to my Gather Inbox, except to clear out what I have read or am not reading!

Exact same for me. I follow my email.

I made a link up so I can go back to the original Gather recent posts. where you can see how many people viewed your posts and see how many comments someones post has before you open it. And the old pages look so much better anyhow.
