i am a psychic and have been in the practice for many years what i can tell you is this.

The LAW OF KNOWLEDGE
This is probably the most widely used law, and probably encompasses all the others in some way. The basis of this law is that understanding brings control. The more that is known about a subject, the easier it is to excercise control over it. Knowledge is power.
The LAW OF SELF-KNOWLEDGE
An obvious derivative of the LAW OF KNOWLEDGE, this law carries additional connotations, as a mage who does not have knowledge of himself does not have knowledge (and therefore control) of his own magic. This law is one of the reasons "evil" mages are very rare—a dedication to "evil for evil's sake" is usually due to a lack of introspection and awareness of oneself. It is difficult to do harm to others when you understand fully what that kind of harm would do to you. Know thyself.

We had a paranormal fair advertised locally last year, but no location was given. I guess if you have to ask where it is you weren't meant to attend!

yes in the main. but the art is a helpful tool for self dialog. i have done many readings and find it a grate tool for opening the soul.

i agree i see the same troubling spirit in religion the pseudo-mystery while the truth is perhaps more complex yes simpler. our emotions are like entities unto them selves. consider how our language attempts to deal with the subject of emotion.

We are in a mood, we pick up on anger, you could feel the tension, when she cry i also was affected and cry with her, someone laughed then i laughed the whole room broke out in laughter.

the way the cards, stones or any other form of divination works is a simple matter.
each card in it self is a question the so called psych is a listener an intuitive feeler. He or she probes you they are in fact true educators in the classical scene of the word in that they draw you out into the light of consciousness.
those those sell hocus-pocus are like the preachers of ignorance in all faiths.

we have a big one near me, it's like a ocmpound and it's great

i also see a local psychic every 2 or 3 years just to see if there is anyone new 'floating' around me

last time i went i was a basket case after it for a while because i heard from someone i never thought i would and was not prepared for it

I had a reading in New Orleans .....around Jackson Square .....the first thing she said was that I wasn't going to like what she had to say .... well being that it was New Orleans and you walk around and every third shop is a place to buy a drink which you can take with you ....needless to say I don't remember much past her opening line LOL
