...Something else is going wrong. Yep, this is a rant. I FINALLY get the most recent heatlh emergency taken care of, in a year FILLED with mine, yours, hers, his, and their share of health emergencies, and two weeks later my PDA, with most of my life in it, disappears. Still haven't found it, and probably won't until it's been obsolute for many moons, and been dead long enough for it to have done a "hard" reset on itself.
Last week, my husband's boss anounces he's getting us new insurance and the day to discuss said new insurance is on July 14th. Today, my husband comes home at lunch and tells me that the meeting has been moved to, well, TODAY. Originally, spouses were welcome to attend, there were 3 meeting times, and enough notice to get a sitter. NOW, not so much. He called me at about 4pm and told me that the ONE doctor I totally depend on, and who is IRREPLACEABLE to me, is NOT "in network". Now, I have to go to his office on Wednesday and try to get him to either join this network, OR accept what they pay plus our co-pay. The only good to come out of this is, no more HSA. HSAs SUCK! Aside from my few chronic problems, I'm a fairly healthy person. I've only had the flu twice as an adult, rarely get colds, and have only broken a toe and my tailbone.
In the last year, I've had 3 surgeries, more ER visits than I can remember, spent 1.5 weeks in the hospital for Menengitis/Encephalitis, then 1 week recovering from the Sphincterotomy surgery I just had. I had pancreatitis twice from this recent issue, BUT now it's all done.
I don't know who, or what I pissed off to have caused this HELLACIOUS year, but I'm publicly apologizing. I'm sorry I offended you, angered you, upset you, or just got in the way, but do you think I could have my life back now?

OMG. I am so sorry you are suffering with so much shit.
Thanks, unless YOU'RE the one who's responsible...(G)
You've had more than your share of health problems of late. I do hope that you can find a reasonable solution to all this which is good for all.
I just want a vacation.
Look, everyone has to blow off steam. There have been several studies that show a strong bias toward letting off steam. People that do, on the average, live much longer than those who bottle it up.
Then I should live forever...
Me too.
Ditto , Elizabeth.
It comes in waves doesn't it?

Oh hunny, what a year you are having. {{HUGS}} you need them. It does seem to pour when it rains, dosen't it? I am so sorry to hear all this, it sounds miserable. And that meeting being changed like that is BS. To give no notice, clearly they didn't want an attendance. I am glad that it seems it will work out for you though, and pray that indispensible doctor works with you sweetie! More {{HUGS}}
Remember the mantra "This too will pass. This too will pass."
That's for kidney stones... don't wish THOSE on her.
