It was reported missing on Tuesday June 30th at approximately 2:30pm. I dug through my purse, it's home, to make a follow-up appointment with my doctor. Not finding it, I didn't panic, I just thought that it would be at home on the couch where my purse is usually found to be.
My family, even my father, performed a search and rescue for the PDA in my POS house for the last two days. The search and rescue will continue although the device is lost and presumed (battery) dead. It will be missed.
It was a wonderful little device. It held my friends names, numbers, and adresses, all of my appointments, a calculator, and even told me the time in almost any time zone in the world. It is survived by it's friend and cohort my cell phone, my coupn and check book with which it shared a residence, and the contents in the neighboring parts of my purse where it resided. Rest well my computer friend, I'm sure that when we eventually leave this house you will turn up, dust covered, battery dead, but possibly revivable.
RIP Tungsten PDA 2007-2009.

I said that the other day. I don't know why it would be so hard to put something on it that you hit a button and it beeps.
Its too bad they dont have a page system like they have on radio phones. I have to page about once a week to find where i have left the phone.
lol...sorry i'm not laughing at you (it's just that last line is priceless). That really sucks. My friend lost her Ipod, we searched for weeks for it, we even moved and still didn't find it. Then one day it just appeared like it had been there all along. Hopefully this will happen for you.
We, litterally, tore the house apart. It's not a large house, but we tore the couches apart, moved them, lifted them, took all of the toys out of the toy box, looked under TVs, in every room and even the diaper pail.
oh...even the diaper pail. ouch.
The only thing we can figure is that the 2yo got a hold of it...he likes putting things in the diaper pail.
I hope you find it soon!! The way you wrote this was hilarious!
I deal with grief in strange ways...
This happened to my cell phone once I was certian it was lost or stolen, I even got the old one activated and three months later it showed up like it had been sitting there the whole time.
HOpe you find it!
I have run out of places to look. I think that it ouwld require moving EVERYTHING out of the house and then disassembling EVERYTHING. IF I find it, I hope that it hasn't been dead for so long that it's lost all of the memory.
Did you look under the front seat of your car? That's where missing library books, CD's and movies always are.
Yep, gone through the car AND the yard. Thanks...
Hubby lost his cell phone once, we found it two weeks later sitting on top of the tv the whole time. Obivious spot you look at every day and just do not see.
I wish it were that simple. We have torn the house and car apart.
My cell phone is where I keep all the phone #'s and if I lost that I would have lost all of my phone #'s
My cell has some number in it, but my PDA had numbers, addresses, and appointments in it.
Did you go couch-fishing?
I hear that's a favorite vacation spot for most items like that.
Oh yes, the couches have been torn apart, including moving (they sit against the wall) and lifting them. NOT THERE.
That seriously sucks sweetie :-( I hope you find it real soon.
