I have been going from doctor to doctor, ER to ER, to try to find SOMEBODY who can help me. The first doctor, he did some tests and then disappeared. The second one told me within 5 minutes of meeting me that she couldn't help me and pointed me to the doctors who could.
When I finally got in to see them, I thought they'd just get right to the point and fix it. Nope, gotta wait until June to have a test done, then July to get the results of that. Then, who knows how long until I have done what needs to be done to fix it.
In the mean time, almost every solid thing I put in my stomach comes back the way it came, within minutes. Easter was fun, at my parents house, middle of dinner, "Excuse me." I barely made it from the table to the toilet.
Today I tried to eat (rather than drink) something for lunch. THAT was a mistake. Home alone with my 2yo, my head in the toilet. Luckily, he thinks it's a joke, and isn't scared. The nausea stays for the rest of the day though, and everything I thought I'd get done, sits again. No end in sight, no energy to do anything, and looking forward to a summer spent on the couch.

The problem is that the first one disappeared without fixing it.
The second one didn't realize that the first one DIDN'T fix it. She misunderstood what I was trying to tell her and didn't speak English very well. She heard me say I'd had an ERCP done, which is the procedure they do to cut the shincter, but not the part where the first doctor didn't actually cut it. He only put a stent in my pancreas, which they do AFTER cutting it to cut down on the chance of Pancreatitis.
The third one wants to do their own tests to confirm what is wrong in their own mind. Even though if it were acute pancreatitis, things would have been coming back abnormal all along. In fact, the fact that things HAVEN'T been coming back abnormal is the BIGGEST indicator that it's SOD.
THIS is where the true frustration comes from. I know what is wrong, and so do they, but each doctor who's willing to even TRY to help me has to do their version of whatever test to confirm the diagnosis.
Geez, I had my gall bladder removed (gall stones) five years ago. I had no idea there could be complications later.
No, DEFINATELY not pregnant.
