This is aimed at the Wicca 101 group, but everyone feel free to join in.
We had a very small ritual. Because of the dryness and lack of a good fire pit we made our fire in a large cauldron. Before the ritual started we had everyone write down the names of loved ones who had passed on.
Once the circle was cast we opened a gateway in the south west for any "guest' to enter through. We then tossed the papers with the names on them into the fire - so the wind could carry our invitations to our loved ones.
We then spent the rest of the evening talking about times past and greeting our guest from the other side.
