How to clean my mini blinds...

I went to open my blinds from closing them yesterday afternoon when the sun was in my MIL's eyes. When I went to open it OH MY GOODNESS!! I have so much dust on ther blinds. I have no idea how to clean them. The only way I know is putting them in the tub and letting them soak in some cleaner and then have to wipe every single blade. I do not want to take the time to do that. Well, I don't have that much time. I need a very much easier way to clean them. Please help me with any and all suggestions you might have. I even thought of laying them on the carport and spraying something on them and letting them set a bit and spraying them with the hose. What is your suggestions.

That's my nightmare too. I clean blind by blind and it IS a headache. I'm thinking of switching to curtains.

The only way i know is take them down and soak in bath tub with bleach. Then take outside to dry in the sun

That has always been the way I've done it but there are now attachments for the vacuum cleaner to make cleaning the blinds and ceiling fans much easier. I still give them a good soaking at least once every six months though.

Hey i think swifter or some body like that makes a mini blind cleaner. But i also just read you can take an old sock and vinager and clean each one with. Or try to vacuum.

Cathie, I have a dog pen outside,so I take the blind down and go outside, I have a spray bottle which I put bleach in and spray them down let set for a few minutes,then rinse them with the hose get them a few minutes to dry in the sun on put it right back on. It has saved my back, from trying to do them in the tub. By the way I hang them outside with shower hooks!
